I'm so excited you've found me! I would be honoured to capture your life together as a new family.
Inviting a photographer into your home in the midst of the newborn bubble might feel like a lot. Isn't it enough to adjust to a different way of life, settle into a new sense of self, and just generally muddle through one day at a time?
Honestly? Yes! But also...
This is the only chance you've got to document your family just as it is, in all its magical newness. To capture beautiful memories in your own sacred space, brimming with love and connection. And the fact you're here tells me you already get that.
So let me make this as easy as it can be.
Here are my promises:
- I'll be there to talk through any questions or anxieties in the leadup to the session – what to wear, how it will run, and anything else that might be playing on your mind.
- I'll guide you enough so that we get gorgeous images and you never feel awkward or lost, but I'll also make plenty of room for your story to unfold naturally.
- Your sweet wee love will spend most of the session in the place they feel safest: wrapped up in your arms or snuggled up against you.
- We'll go at your pace. I'll always leave enough time for nappy blowouts, the fifth (or is it sixth?) breastfeed of the morning, toddler (or father!) meltdowns, or just a breather here and there.
- Things won't go to plan – and that's so fine! Chaos is its own kind of beauty. I'll take responsibility for getting the shots we need, so you can focus on just enjoying each other.
- Your gallery will feel unmistakably yours, full of a warmth and love all your own. I'll capture you as your best selves – you'll look far less exhausted than you feel!
